Tel Aviv, May 16 2017 – Rewire and Eurogiro signed an agreement today that brings a unique combination of remittance channels, new digital banking technologies and access to existing infrastructures to the Eurogiro members. They built a secure digital banking platform that addresses every step of the customer’s needs, from storing value to seamless remittance to a connected card technology. Rewire enables funding and pay-outs via bank accounts, mobile accounts as well as cash outlets and simple KYC solutions. They are present in high remittance destinations such as India and the Philippines, as well as destinations not yet covered by Eurogiro such as Nepal and Russia. Rewire is a fully licensed remittance company.
Michel Stuijt, CEO at Eurogiro, says: ‘I am very proud to welcome this Fintech company into the Eurogiro community. They have excellent technical solutions for cross-border payments and remittances and use a broad scope of channels spanning from social media, mobile phones, PCs, as well as access to bank accounts and traditional point of sales and they do it in a fresh and very efficient way. Although they are around for a short period, they have proved to be capable to establish successful business. Furthermore, they have an impressive backing from the industry. Their services could be just what posts that are striving for high-tech solutions for modern clients are looking for’.
