Settlement solutions

The Eurogiro community has standard settlement solution for EUR.

Settlement in Eurogiro has these characteristics:

• It takes place on the value date set by the sending organisation
• It can be same day, but is typically one or two days after the transfer starts   
• Settlement is handled using the same process as the transfer
• Our solution is based on gross settlement of bulks
• The community developed the settlement concept
