Eurogiro general meeting 2015 in Ho Chi Minh City

Almost 100 delegates from most Eurogiro member organisations will convene in Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon for this year’s Community Meeting.
Vietnam Post is co-hosting the meeting and the delegates will be treated to a memorable experience.
The Saigon Caravelle Hotel - formally holding the Australian Embassy in Saigon and several news agencies - is the attractive venue of this year's Eurogiro Community meeting.
A main objective of the meeting is to bring members together and there will be ample opportunity to discuss how to grow business among members. Yet, as always, we will discuss payments in many aspects, and this year one focal point is how the increasing AML/ATF compliance demands are best dealt with. We will present updates on new provisions, on best practice and a screening tool.
Eurogiro is currently implementing a new version of our Single point of Settlement for EUR where the settlement provider will screen the underlying transactions based on copies of the transactions.
The meeting will also feature an inspirational speech on e-Commerce from a Postal perspective and presentations from members, in particular from Asia, on their offering and on major payment trends in Asia.
Vietnam Post has been a Eurogiro member since 2009 and is an active member in the Eurogiro Asia Pacific Member Council. Vietnam Post offers Eurogiro members a cash payout option through its extensive post office network all over Vietnam.
This year’s meeting will bring together Eurogiro members from more than 35 Eurogiro members from all over the world, as well as partners such as Western Union. All the main senders of transactions are present.
Ho Chi Minh City, former Saigon, is the first Eurogiro venue in East Asia for the yearly community meeting. A quarter of the Eurogiro members are domiciled in Asia.
