Eurogiro is pleased to announce that BDO Unibank has joined the Eurogiro community
BDO Unibank is set to further widen its reach to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) around the world following a partnership agreement with Eurogiro.
BDO Unibank (www.bdo.com.ph) is the Philippines largest bank in terms of inward remittances, total resources, customer loans, total deposits and assets under management. The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (The Central Bank of the Philippines) has elevated BDO to the Hall of Fame in 2011 for being the Top Commercial Bank on Overseas Filipinos Remittances for the years 2008, 2009 and 2010. Of the USD$25 Billion that was sent to the Philippines last year, BDO is the leader in terms of market share.
BDO offers nearly 7,000 branch and retail partner locations for cash pickup as well as cash to account payment disbursement services.
BDO will be a strategic member complement to a strong and capable Eurogiro member payment network that exists in the Philippines today.
BDO will complete their system connectivity to Eurogiro in February and will be in live production status in March.
