Frank Strauss appointed new Postbank CEO
On 19 March 2012 the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Postbank AG elected Frank Strauß to be
the Chairman of the company’s Management Board with effect from 1 July 2012. He succeeds
Stefan Jütte (65), who will leave the Management Board on 30 June 2012. Strauss has been a
member of the Management Board of Postbank since 1 July 2011 and is responsible for Sales

charge of business with corporate clients
and business customers, commercial real
estate, and mobile sales.
Before joining Postbank, he was the Head
of Deutsche Bank’s Private & Business
Clients in Germany and a member of the
Management Board of Deutsche Bank
Private & Business Clients (PBC) from 2006
to 2010.
During this time he made an important
contribution to integrating the operations of
Berliner Bank and Norisbank and establish-

ing the co-operation with Postbank, as well
as other important initiatives. He previously
set up PBC’s Asian activities in India and
China in 2005, at which point he became
a member of the PBC Global Executive
Committee, Deutsche Bank’s most senior
management committee for private and
business customers. Strauß is also the
Chairman of the Supervisory Board of
Deutsche Bank Bauspar-AG and Norisbank
GmbH.
