Pacific Community Meeting. Our Community
Meeting has been developed as a forum for

(November 8, 2013) and has been called
the most powerful storm to make landfall in
recorded history. However, according to the
attendees, Manila served as the perfect
setting for these key meetings.
Attendees at the Community Meeting were
treated to a warm welcome and presentation
from Mr. Michel Stuijt, Eurogiro’s CEO, who
set the stage for the new strategic agenda
for Eurogiro for 2014 and the years to come.
This was followed with an overview presenta-
tion of Payments in Asia Pacific by Mr. Gene
Gutierrez, Director of Customer Relations
for Eurogiro Asia Pacific. Globally payments
revenues represent close to three fourths of
a trillion Euros - roughly 25% of the world’s
entire total banking income. Asia Pacific
region alone received over 307 billion Euros
in payments last year.
